IDE-Interface Probleme -> Festplatte wird nicht erkannt

Hallo Zusammen,

Habe heute mein IDE-Interface in meine Nokia Box für Kabel mit JtG-Image vom 12.11 eingebaut. Leider scheint die Festplatte nicht erkannt zu werden. Laut Tuxbox wiki liegt es an der Verbindung zur Festplatte, der Stromversorgung oder der Festplatte selbst. Alles drei habe ich der Reihe nach ausgetauscht, was leider keine Abhilfe gebracht hat.

Soweit ich das log richtig verstehe, scheint mit dem IDE-Interface alles in Ordnung zu sein, nur bei der HD hakts dann.

Die HDD ist als Master (without Slave) gejumpert?

Ja genau. HDD ist als Master gejumpert und IDE Kabel habe ich zwei Stück ausprobiert. Weiter habe ich es auch noch mit einer anderen HDD probiert und den IDE-Interface Steckplatz mit einem in Alkohol getränkten Wattestäbchen gereinigt und die Distanzröllchen von 5,5 mm auf 4,5 mm runter gefeilt, so dass es 100% passt.

Platte hat definitiv Strom und IDE-Kabel steckt richtig herum in der Platte?

Ja Platte hat Strom. Man hört Sie. Außerdem habe ich auch noch ein anderes Netzteil probiert.
Das IDE-Kabel kann man ja eigentlich nicht falsch rum stecken? Zum einen ist da so ein Nase drann und zum anderen ist ein Loch ausgefüllt, so dass man da schon recht brutal zur Sache gehen müsste um das falsch rein zu stecken. Oder habe ich Dich da falsch verstanden?

Die Stecker an sich sitzen auch recht stramm so, dass man einen Wackler ausschließen können müsste.

Das mit dem "without Slave" oder auch "SingleDrive" hast du beachtet?
Es gibt Platten die habe da noch eine extra Jumperstellung für.

Die Platten funktionieren an einem anderen Controller bestimmt problemlos, stimmts?

Es soll auch vereinzelt vorgekommen sein, das der IDE-Stecker auf dem IDE-IF falsch bestückt worden wäre, wodurch die Nase in die falsche Richtung zeigt. Vergleiche mal mit Bildern hier im Forum oder im Tuxbox-Forum.

So ich habe auch nochmal gesucht und ich meine auf dem Bild auf http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/1roi-1-jpg.html erkennen zu können, das die Nase vom IDE-Stecker auf IF zum CPLD/ zur DBox-Front zeigt und die rote Ader des IDE-Kabels zur Tunerseite liegt.

Vielen Dank für die Zahlreichen Antworten.

Ich vermute dass ich vor lauter Bäumen den Wald nicht mehr sehe. Deswegen hier ein paar Fotos: http://s.lenk.free.fr/dbox/

Der Jumper steckt ganz links in der Festplatte.

Festplatte müsste in Ordnung sein. Habe Sie von meinem Onkel geerbt und der hat sie vor ein paar Tagen noch benutzt. Außerdem habe ich auch schon mal meine exerne USB-Platte aus dem Gehäuse genommen und mit der probiert.

Meiner Meinung nach habe ich da Interface auch richtig eingebaut und der IDE-Stecker ist auch genauso wie bei der Anleitung auf www.hallenberg.com

Wäre auf jeden Fall Klasse wenn Ihr Euch die Bilder mal scharf anschauen könntet.

Also ich kann so zunächst mal nichts Falsches entdecken.
Wie bestromst du die DBox2 und die Festplatte ?
Schalte als erstes die Festplatte ein, und warte bis sie den Selbsttest durchgeführt hat (ca. 5 sec.)
Erst dann schaltest du die Dbox2 aus dem DeepSleep (oder vorher komplett spannungslos) ein.

Das Interface wird auf jeden Fall laut Log sauber erkannt.

Ansonsten kontrolliere mal die Lötstellen des IDE-Steckers auf dem IDE-IF.
Dazu musst du natürlich leider das IF wieder ausbauen.

Ansonsten fällt mir so im Moment jetzt auch nichts mehr ein.

Ja genau, darauf hatte ich auch schon geachtet, dass ich zuerst die HDD einstecke und wenn die gleichmäßig läuft die D-Box eingesteckt wird.

Das mit dem Lötstellen kontrollieren ist ne gute Idee. Nur befürchte ich dass mir das Kabel zum LCD Display langsam wegbröselt.

Also ich habe mir die Mühe nochmal gemacht und das IDE-Interface ausgebaut und unter die Lupe genommen. Bei dem Steckplatz mit dem Kable zum Modem Anschluss war tatsächlich ein Pin nicht 100%ig gelötet. Also habe ich meinen Lötkolben angeworfen und die Sache behoben.

Leider hat's nur nichts gebracht. Immer noch das gleiche Problem.

Zur Sicherheit damit ich auch alles getestet habe, habe ich dann noch mal das IDE Kabel am PC getestet und eine andere Platte an die Box angeschlossen.

Alles ohne Erfolg.

ich habe 2 IDE interfaces für 2 verschiedene Nokia Boxen bekommen.

Auch bei mir hat sich folgendes ergeben (RS232 log file Ausschnitt):

Die HDD lässt sich nicht mounten und formatieren. Dieses Verhalten kann ich aber nur bei EINEM Interface feststellen.

Nachdem ich nun beide Boxen wieder auseinander gerupft habe und die IDE Interfaces getauscht habe, funktionierten auf einmal beide nicht mehr.... nach einem weiteren Reset funktionierte aber auf einmal das ursprünglich funktionierende wieder.

Fazit:
Ein Interface funktioniert nicht
Ein Interface funktioniert - aber nicht sofort nach dem Umbau - erst beim 2. oder 3. reboot.

Für mich macht das IDE Interface derzeit einen etwas unstabilen Eindruck. Ich hoffe, dass sich dies bei weiteren Tests ändert.

Ich werde wohl das eine Interface, welches gar nicht zum Leben zu erwecken ist, nach Rücksprache zurück senden.

Oder gibt es schon eine Lösung ?

vielen Dank für die Infos. Zumindest weiß ich jetzt, dass ich nicht der Einzigste bin der solche Probleme hat, wobei Dein Log etwas anders aussieht als meiner.

Lösung habe ich für mein Problem noch keine. Ich vermute mittlerweile auch einen Hardwaredefekt. Also werde ich mich auch mal mit Herr Hallenberg in Verbindung setzten.
