IDE Interface Probleme

Hallo Jungs. Erstmal Danke das ihr das Projekt ins Leben gerufen habt. Echt RESPEKT.

Hab nun endlich nach 5Wochen mein IF bekommen und gleich in meine: Nokia-Kabel-HDD-Box mit Avia 500 (KABEL) verbaut. War eigentlich kein Problem

Neues JTP 2.2 und neuesten Snapshot drauf und INIT Script gestartet --> Soweit alles gut. Die Platte wurde paritioniert, formatiert gemountet usw. Alles ok.

Er zeigt mir mit dem Script für den Speicherplatz auch den freien Speicherplatz an usw. also schein die Kommunikation zu funktionieren.

Wenn ich jetzt aber eine Direkt-Aufnahme starte, kommt manchmal auch nicht immer die Meldung: Die Aufnahme wurde leider ... bla bla
Was aber immer ist, das die Aufnahme in mehrere Datein unterteilt ist die so zw. 10 & 60MB groß sind, also wie wenn der Schreibvorgang auf der Platte abbricht und erneut beginnt. Die Aufnahmen sind voll Ruckler und Ton Fehler.

Ich hab dann mal alle bis auf die Standard Tonspur abgeschalten, ohne Erfolg.

Wenn ich eine Aufnahme über FTP auf meinen PC kopiere komme ich so ca. auf 900kB/s was ja nicht so schlecht ist. Ohne das IF hab ich über WLAN gestreamt und da ging fast alles immer gut.

An was kann das liegen??? Gibt es ein Log fürs Aufnehmen?? Wo ich DebugMeldungen einsehen kann?

Würd mich über Unterstützung freuen.

Es gibt verschiedenste Möglichkeiten. Vorweg: Bei meiner Nokia-Kabel-Box war es die Festplatte. Nach einem Tausch war es besser.

Probiere mal aus:
- aktueller snap- oder testimage ist die Voraussetzung
- Unter hdd einen neuen Unterordner anlegen zum streamen
- Unter Treiber/Bootoptionen: Alles aus, außer SWAP und IDE
- Direktaufnahme Einstellungen: Ringpuffer 35

Hallo. Danke für die Info. Werd ich heute Abend mal probieren.

Hab auch ne neue HDD die ich heute Teste. Obwohl die alte 100% in einem USB2.0 Rahmen geht. Aber Danke.

Muss man eigentlich die "hwsectionsd" unter Direktaufnahme auch aussschalten?? Für was sind die?

Hallo. Hab alle Einstellungen nochmals durchgesehen und alles im Forum probiert, ohne Erfolg.

Dann hab ich die Alte "Seagate U Series 5 - 20GB @ 5200U/min" gegen eine "Seagate Baracuda 80 GB @ 7200U/min" ersetzt und jetzt funktionierts SUPER!!!!!

An Alle die Ruckler in der Aufnahme haben aber sonst schein alles zu gehen, einfach mal die HDD tauschen. klingt eigentlich komisch, aber ist so.

Ich würde gerne meine ALTE HDD den Entwicklern zur Verfügung zu stellen um damit zu testen warum die so halb geht.

Nochmals zur Betonung SIE GEHT EINWANDFREI in einem USB 2.0 Rahmen!!!!!

Hallo.

Hab mich leider zu Früh gefreut. Einmal gings für 5Min ohne Probleme und jetzt ruckelt er wieder wie verrückt und unterteilt mir die Aufnahmen in mehrere Files (Mit der Meldung am Fernseher das die Aufnahme nicht schnell genug geschrieben werden konnte).

Wie kann ich herausfinden was es hat?? Interrupt Problem??
Obwohl alles Andere geht (HDDCheck, HDDTemp, Init usw.)

Freu mich auf Hilfe

Wie gross ist dein Ringbuffer ?
Versuch ihn mal zu erhöhen.
Bei mir kam die Meldung "Die Aufnahme...." wenn der Ringbuffer zu klein war.
Wenn du ihn zu gross wählst kommt im Bootlog "PANIC:..."
Bei mir läufts am besten mit einem Wert zwisch en 70 und 80.

Ich hab schon mit dem Ringpuffer experimentiert. Er Überläuft auch wenn ich ihn auf 99 stelle. Also wie wenn die Platte/IF zu langsam wäre!

Ich werd heute mal den Schreibcache deaktivieren so wie ich es in einem anderen Thread gelesen habe.

Sonst noch jemand eine Idee??

Hatte auch mal das Aufnahme-ruckeln-Problem bei ORF1-Sendungen.
Verwendete eine Avia500 kabel-Box mit Hallenberg-Image + Snap vom 17.9.
Nachdem ich die Box komplett neu mit jtg 2.2 geflasht habe und den snap vom 26.9. aufspielte ... jetzt gehts.
In Sachen Ringpuffer: Meine Erfahrung ist 30 !!
20 sind echt knapp, kurze pause (kleiner 5min) bei der wiedergabe und es gibt sync-probs (nervig, durch 0-drücken aber behebbar)
50 oder gar mehr machen mir meine Box nur noch langsamer
(je mehr verwaltet wird, desto langsamer das komplette system)

Bitte helft mir bei meinem Problem:
Kann meine Dateien auf der HDD-Box nicht editieren; verschieben; wiedergeben-nur das Verzeichnis ansehen
Nur bei Aufnahmen von meiner 2.Box klappts.

99 ist zu gross, dann kommt "panic..."
Ab 50 aufwärts,wie gesagt 70 bis 80 funzen bei mir gut, bei 30 bricht bei mir die Aufnahme sehr oft ab.
Ich habe wohl immer nach dem ändern einen Neustart der Dbox2 gemacht.
Bin mir nicht sicher ob das "on the fly" was bringt.

Dann habe ich auf ext2 umgestellt und den Schreibcache deaktiviert.

Jetzt habe ich eigentlich nur noch bei ARD bei hohen Bitraten Queue Overflows, die dann zu Rucklern führen.

Ich habe dein Problem leider (zum Glück) nicht, und kann es deshalb nicht nachvollziehen.
Im Moment keine Idee.

Danke für die Info. Jetzt mal ne Frage, ein Interrupt ist ja (hätt ich irgendwan mal gelernt :-) eine Unterbrechung eines Hauptprogramms, damit sich der Prozessor wichtigeren Dinge witmen kann (Z.B: ENDLICH MAL DIE TS Streams richtig auf meine Platte zu schreiben :-) ), d.h. die HDD sagt ich will jetzt.

So jetzt meine Frage, warum geht das partitionieren, formatieren usw. (was sicher auch mit IRQs von statten geht) und das aufnehmen nicht???

Hier ist mein BootLog, und wie ich schon vermutet habe, hab ich auch diese LosInterrupt Meldungen. Vielleicht kann mir jemand einen Tip geben:

Bisherige Ursachen für das Problem:
- schlechter Kontakt mit dem 80ploigen Speicherstecker
- defekte Festplatte
- Chip des Interfaces defekt

Also folgendes tun (falls Möglich):
- Platte tauschen
- IF in einer anderen Box testen

Funktioniert es dann immer noch nicht, kann von einem defekten IF ausgegangen werden. Dann bitte zurücksenden. Sollten die oben genannten Maßnahmen nicht möglich sein, bitte Box mit Platte einsenden.

Hallo gurgel.

hab schon eine andere Platte probiert, ist das gleiche. Das IF kann ich leider nicht in eine andere Box einbauen, da ich keine habe.

Können das schon Kontaktschwierigkeiten sein, wenns eigentlich beim Booten immer hinhaut??

Bringts was, mal ohne die Distanzen zu testen (Obwohl ich beim draufstecken schon gemeint habe das der Connector richtig sitzt).

Das mit einschicken geht glaub ich nicht --> da killt mich meine Freundin ;-)

PS: Hab die erstellten Files mal probiert per FTP über mein WLAN zu holen mit ca. 700-900 kByte/s. Ist ja nicht so schlecht.

Dann hab ich mal so eine 150MB File über FTP rübergeschoben, mit grauhenhaften Ergebnissen:

Mit FlashFXP sieht man schön den Verlauf der Übetragung. Das ist eine einzige Berg und Talfahrt. bei der Hälfte ca. hat sich die DBOX sogar rebootet ;-( (meine Freundin hat wie wild aus dem Nebenzimmer gerufen ;-) )

Hilft es ev. einen andere Interrupt Leitung zu nehmen??

Ich würde vielleicht auf ein Kommunikationproblem zwischen HD und IF tippen.
Hast Du schon mal das IDE-Kabel getauscht ?
Hast Du das IDE-Kabel vielleicht "scharfkantig gefaltet" verlegt ?
Hast Du auch die "äusseren" Stecker des Kabels verwendet ?
Solltest du vom IDE-Kabel einen äusseren und den mittleren Stecker verwendet haben, und das andere äussere Ende "offen rumbaumeln" haben, kann das auch zu Störungen durch Reflexionen oder Antennenwirkung führen.

Natürlich haben die Aussagen des Meisters gurgel höhere Priorität als meine.
