is there a way to change the time of dbox2. Shows annoyingly one hour too early time

you have to change: (but works only for writeable Filesystems like jffs2)

# timezone, only applicable for middle europe
export TZ=CET-1CEST,M3.5.0/2,M10.5.0/3

some dox therefor:

Central European Time, 1 hour east from Greenwich, daylight saving starts
on the last Sunday in March at 2 AM and ends on the last Sunday in
October at 3 AM:

TZ='CET-1CEST,M3.5.0/2,M10.5.0/3'

British time, daylight saving starts and ends at the same moment as CET,
but in an earlier time zone:

TZ=GMT0BST,M3.5.0/1,M10.5.0/2

Riker is the man who builds the JacktheGrabber-Images that the developers have coded in the CVS at Berlios.de. If you want Riker to tell a question, you can write him a personal mail (PM) here in the forum.

You can search him with the Suchen-Button in top of the screen, try to search for author write his name and than you can send him a PM. Or just wait, if he's online, he will read your post and perhaps answer you.
If you can understand german, it would be better to tell this to us. It would be a better communication here on the board.

I don't think Riker has made any country-specific Images yet.

Coming back to the time the dbox shows: If I'm not mistaken then it usually shows the time that is transmitted by the tv-station. So when you watch a Finnish program, it should be your time (CET+1), but when you watch a German/Swedish/etc program, it should be CET.

What you can always do is change the time on your computer, but that might be even more annoying
