Ohne die PES-Streams kann ich da nichts machen.

Das ist klar, der Fehler taucht dann erst bei der Umwandlung von ES nach PES mit udrec auf. Solche Streams sind dann für tonsel unter umständen sehr hilfreich. Ist ein Grund, warum ich mittlerweilen alles als PES streame

Hatte ich mir zu Herzen genommen und mal wieder auf PES umgestellt. Heute Abend: Road to Perdition: nach 29:47 hat die Aufnahme gestoppt. Einfach so, ohne Fehlermeldung. udrec hängt auch nicht noch im Speicher rum.
Einstellungen: PES, kein O-TOn und AC3 ersetzt Stereo, SPTS aus (mit Reboot, versteht sich), Snap vom 05.04., udrec 0.11f, zapit -u, Boxtimer (Jack als Streamingserver). Sollte also alles auf der Höhe der Zeit sein.
Die Umwandlung mittels Muxxi nach ES hat keinerlei Fehlermeldung ergeben. Es war, als hätte einer den Film aus der Timerliste der Box gelöscht und somit die Aufnahme gestoppt.
Tonsel: die vpes/apes kannste gerne auf CD haben, falls Interesse besteht und uns das weiterbringt.

Passiert mir jetzt zum vierten Mal (vorher mit TS), dass die Aufnahme wortlos den Geist aufgibt.

Dieses Problem liegt eher bei Jack the Grabber. udrec hat irgendwoher ein (virtuelles) Tastatur-RETURN empfangen und programmgemäß die Aufnahme beendet.

bei mir merkt udrec noch nicht einmal, daß kein Stream mehr übers Netz kommt.
Aber es ist gut zu wissen, daß ich nicht alleine dastehe.

Ich habe Startgate, was Muxxi (udrec) nicht muxen kann. Bei 34 min steigt udrec mit einer Fehlermeldung aus. ProjectX muxt es weiter, aber mit Fehlermeldung.

ich glaube, das sind zwei Paar Stiefel: bei dir versiegt einfach der Datenstrom und du kriegst auch wenigstens irgendwelche Fehlermeldungen, bei mir drückt Mr. Poltergeist einfach auf Stopp.
Ob's ein Test mit der Wingrab-Engine reißt? Resyncs hatte ich eigentlich ziemlich selten ...

Gehst du über einen Switch/Hub bzw. kannst du mal direkt per Crosskabel testen? Ich hab meinen DSL-Switch dazwischen hängen wg. Internet, kann aber ganz locker neben einer Aufnahme noch surfen.

Ich bekomme keine Fehlermeldung.
Das, was ich heute gepostete habe, habe ich erst NACH dem Streamen beim Muxen bekommen.

Wenn bei mir der Stream einfach aufhört, dann bekomme ich keine Fehlermeldung, denn keiner der Probanden bekommt das mit. Weder JtG, noch udrec noch die Box.
Ich sehe den Abriß des Streams nur im Netzwerkprotokoll (die fette ZickZacklinie in Taskmanager -> Netzwerk).
Seit ich SPTS wieder aus habe, ist der Abbriß erst einmal und nicht dauernd vorgekommen. Aber schön ist das trotzdem nicht. Ich frage mich, was das soll, daß udrec sich nicht beendet, wenn der Stream weg ist. Da gibt es doch keinen Vorteil... grübel.

Das war die Fehlermeldung von UDREC. Da kam nichts mehr, als diese Meldung. Wenn ich ABBRECHEN gedrückt hätte, dann sollte udrec gedebuggt werden. Mit ok wurde der Prozess beendet.

Der SPTS-Modus darf nur für's TS-Streaming benutzt werden, da man in diesem Modus nicht den Sender PES/ES-streamen kann den man gerade anschaut (s. udrec-README).

...komische Sache. Die sauberen, artefaktfreien Streams auch vom ARD-Bouquet bei eingeschaltetetm Playback, habe ich imo nur dem SPTS Treiber zu verdanken...und der wirkt auch bei ggrab was kein TS-Streaming kann. Das ist keine Einbildung und mehrfach getestet.

kannst Du bitte hier noch mal Deine Empfehlungen fuer artefaktfreies/fehlerfreies streaming posten ?
Nach meiner Erfahrung geht das wenn ich auf den SPTS-Treiber verzichte nur mit Playback=OFF. Bei geladenem SPTS-Treiber spielt es keine Rolle ob Playback=ON oder OFF ist....was auch bei ES/PES unter Deinem udrec eindeutig zu beobachten ist.....oder auch unter ggrab !!!!
Die Experimente habe ich mit dem letzten JtG-Teamimage gemacht....nur mit Sendern vom ARD-Bouquet.

Ich kann erst wieder aufnehmen, wenn ich die Box rebootet habe.
So ist eine Timeraufnahme fast unmöglich.
Was hängt sich in der Box weg? Weißt du das vielleicht und kannst es fixen?
Wie zu sehen ist habe ich PES streamen wollen und aus JtG heraus.

Da blockiert nichts. Kam halt nicht mehr. Und brach nach 5 MB ab. Box neu gestartet, und schon ging es. Okay, wenn etwas bremsen sollte, dann müßte das doch in der Box sein. Weil der Rechner erst 3 min vorher hochfährt, wenn die Aufnahme beginnen soll. Da kann nichts den Geist aufgegeben haben.
Aber was ist es in der Box?
